The main antagonist and final boss of Taiga's adventure. If it weren't for her striking blonde hair, she could easily be mistaken for Taiga's older sister. Gryphus is a Sprite. A carbon based species near identical to humans on every level. Arrogant and regal, she is the self proclaimed queen of her species. As the name suggests, she is tied to the Gryphus rider system that Taiga uses. At one point, Gryphus was defeated and even killed with her corpse processed and used to complete the trial of Kamen Rider Gryphus. However, Gryphus's conscience lingered within the system. She would eventually manipulate Taiga into setting her free by offering a upgrade in exchange for a new body. Free from her prison, Gryphus now seeks her revenge. When transformed, she becomes the Lycoris Sprite. A powerful form that's well suited for sword fighting, specifically fencing. Despite being used to complete the Gryphus system, the two forms share little to no physical or combat similarities. With Taiga fighting like a scrappy street brawler and Gryphus fighting like a regal knight. Like other characters in her universe, she is based off of a condiment. In this case, sweet Thai chili sauce.
