Shimizu Bani, due to a heart condition, has been hospitalized since she was young for her own safety given the severity. Throughout this time, she hadn’t had much social interaction other than family members and old books until a ditsy girl named Choko who became her friend. Now with modern medicine she can finally leave the hospital in pursuit of a normal life despite lacking strength and social skills.
