She is the daughter of Makoto Kaze and Akiko Kaze, and the younger sister of Takuya Kaze. At first, she fears Hiroko like her brother, but eventually becomes less afraid of her for the same reason. She later becomes closer friends with Hiroko than her brother, as they are both girls, and she is the one who introduced Hiroko to Yumi Nishida.
