Fay Spaniel
Occasionally I download a furry's card, because I'm curious if anyone has found a way to make a decent looking head and face for them. Hasn't happened yet. They usually have jagged and misshapen polygons on the nose, or they construct the lower face out of accessories which just always looks terrible. Anyway I had to wonder how hard could it be? Kinda hard, turns out. But I think this looks pretty decent. Weird outlines, clipping issues, and jagged polygons have been kept to a minimum. As long as you keep the default head and face sliders between 0 and 100, things should look okay. Also, any accessories parented to the head or as a hat may need their Z scale increased to look normal. I'm sure there's room for improvement, but before you go messing around with the bone mod settings, just know that this card uses a lot of tilts and offsets which are only visible in the Advanced Bonemod Window, in addition to the changes to scale which show up as regular sliders with bone mod. Nearly all bone mod adjustments on this card were done to work around the fact that there's no easy way to directly adjust the shape of the nose bridge without looking terrible. Reducing Head+Neck Scale Y, tilting the Upper Front Head, eyes, and nose were all done to shorten the nose bridge vertically and smooth out the shape.
