The Blackbourne clan once ruled over most of the deadlands and was feared by all. That is until an ill fated expedition led by its sire claimed the lives of all but his youngest fledgling. She had been left behind under the watchful eye of her friends and guardians the banshee Ava and dullahan Brenna to recover after being wounded in a sparring match with one of her elders. She woke with a scream from her slumber as the connection she shared with the rest of her clan was severed in an instant. The anguish she suffered along with the stress of having to appear perfect and proper as her clans power dwindled under her watch had turned her to substance abuse in private. When a strange man and his companions arrived at her castle she attacked in a rage with her only remaining allies, only to be defeated. The stranger offered her and her companions a place in his party. Her pride wouldn't allow her to do so, and when her two best friends took him up on the offer and left her, she fell deeper into misery. Eventually another party known as The Rogues came across her castle and offered her a chance for revenge which she begrudgingly accepted. In time she reconciled with her friends and the target of her revenge, joining them and using their help to try overcome her demons.
