[AOI HIKARI] Pavel Geraskin (Pashka for his friends) is a character in Alisa’s Adventures by Kir Bulychov, in short it’s a setting like Star Trek but for kids. He is one of Alisa’s friends from the biostation and classmates. This model is based on his description and illustrations from the books. Pashka never sits still for a second, he’s constantly on the move, always rushing somewhere, often acting first and thinking later, which gets him into trouble. Like Arkasha, Pashka loves to invent and create, but Pashka thinks of ten things at once, and simultaneously invents a perpetual motion machine, invisible cheat sheets and a pancake flipper. He’ll invent for fifteen minutes and then rush off to a hockey game. Pashka and Arkasha are described as being polar opposites who are nevertheless very much alike. They are always quarrelling, arguing, almost fighting, yet remain best friends. Pashka romanticizes adventure and chivalry in a boastful and naïve kind of way, somewhat like Don Quixote, he laments how there is no romance and chivalry left in the world nowadays and wishes he were born in the times of knights. Here’s a telling example of what happens when Pashka uses a magical (clarketech) device to spawn a dragon, because he thought it’d be cool to defeat one: “Pashka looked up and got surprised how big and ominous the dragon came out. No, Pashka didn’t get scared. He’s never scared of everything. But he got surprised. And in surprise he threw the box on the grass and dashed away. He ran with his eyes closed – that’s just how it happened. And he slammed head-on into a wall. So hard that his head started buzzing and his legs gave away. Pashka clutched his head, sat down on the grass and said: this is the end for me. He didn’t realize he’d hit his head on a wall all by himself, and assumed the dragon had killed him”. Then it comes to Alisa to save him from the dragon he himself created, because of course it does. It is implied Pashka and Alisa have budding romantic feelings toward each other, but it’s never stated openly, you can only guess it from their actions. And even when in a pinch Alisa promises to marry Pashka to save him from execution they never bring it up again, and him NOT rubbing it in her face feels too deliberate to not imply there’s actually something behind it. Perhaps, they both feel not yet ready to confront their own feelings, and comfortable being friends for now. There’s more for them in the future, but they’ll get there at their own pace. CharaStudio Only: I've never tried running the actual game outside of the character creator, but I'm pretty sure the animations will break due to custom proportions (such as feet not reaching the ground).
