Shizuka fell in love with her teacher once -- it did not go well. Their relationship was exposed to the principal, who fired the teacher and "recommended" Shizuka to change schools, only because Shizuka was a well-liked honour student. She blames herself for bringing the end to her teacher's life... in more ways than one.
