Usually quiet, Moka appears to be a simpleton brute following the orders of her cousin Rin communicating through simple gestures and grunts. The truth however is that Moka is incredibly intelligent and prefers to have her opponents underestimate her. While slightly weaker then the standard oni, Moka possesses incredible speed and agility for a creature of her size. She alongside her cousin work as members of the Rogues, Kana's personal team. Rin describes her as sweet and caring, but few get to see this less intimidating side of the savage oni. Eventually it's revealed that Moka is responsible for the incident that caused Rin to mistrust humans and it drives a wedge between the two. After some prodding from Havens guildmaster the two make up and even become great heroes.
