(Uniform Type: In School) The Executors of the Common Order Leader: The Executrix In the wake of the Coda, interpretations of a reason why it occurred have varied. Unlike the Echoes, who're open to debating all possibilities, the Executors of the Common Order believe that, without doubt, it was an act of God; that those who have been left behind were simply forgotten. As such, the Executors believe it is their duty to commit a genocide upon all that remain. They see the Echoes as heretics and any who would disagree with their want for Salvation as all the more needing to be 'liberated'. They are led by the Executrix, whose excuse as to why she herself has not chosen death already is that, in surrendering her identity, she has already committed a kind of spiritual suicide. According to her, she's denied herself Salvation so as to save more than herself; she has become a martyr for the sake of mankind. ----- (Uniform Type: Going Home) Ultimum Recursum Leaders: Kasia Szewczyk Charlie Knuth Adam Knuth Initially just a couple of scavs who broke into a gun shop and wanted to play vigilante, Ultimum Recursum, in reaction to the first crusades of the Executors of the Common Order, became a city-wide defence force. While their primary goal is to silence the Executrix, who they recognize for the tyrant she is, they've assumed responsibility for all a manner of issues plaguing the city. In doing so, they've grown arrogant; self-imporant. While not as outwardly dangerous as the Executors, Ultimum Recursum have developed into a brutal militia. ----- (Uniform Type: Gym Uniform) Sex Party Leaders:Her Heininess, the Penis Magnate The Princ(n)ipal Titty Manipulator What started as a bunch of horny teenagers has quickly devolved into a cult. While they're based in the harbor near East Edge, living primarily in the docked ships they've converted to brothels, members of Sex Party are spread across the city. General opinion of them is mixed, for, while though their services are oft sought out, Sex Party, to offset that rampant disease and violent clients have thinned the numbers of their workers, has taken to taking people from other territories and enslaving them. ----- (Uniform Type: Swimsuit) Echoes Leader: n/a The eggheads that live in the Public Library near the city center, and the only collective that is actively trying to uncover why and how the Coda began. Depending on Ultimum Recursum for protection, the Echoes spend most of their time reading philosophy, religious texts, and speculative fiction, and they operate on the ideals of anarchistic mutualism. The Echoes were few in the beginning, but, as the Coda has drawn on, many have come to the Library in search of answers. Public symposiums are regularly held by candle-light in the lounge area. ----- (Uniform Type: Club Activities) The Stygian Molls Leader: Tara A girls-only motorcycle gang that holds control of West Edge, Rime, and Solare. They were formed by a couple of street kids in the first measure of the Coda and are based in what'd been a nightclub called 'The Styx'. Having checked through old business records, they managed to claim most of the local distilleries and, since then, have monopolized the liquor market. While quick to violence against any attempts of invasion or insurrection, the Molls, in peacetime, are generally well-liked by civilians living in their territory. They never aimed to expand much, but many escapees from Sex Party have come to them for shelter. ----- (Uniform Type: Casual Clothes) Wizards of the Last Arcade Leader: Doolan Bootle A boys' club that would totally be okay if it wasn't just a boys' club- but the Wizards of the Last Arcade are kind of a bunch of losers. They met at the start of the Coda. Individually, the soon-to-be Wizards realized that the power grid was going to fall and headed to the plant to try to keep it running. While their priority had been to generate enough electricity to keep playing their hentai games, the Wizards of the Last Arcade quickly became crucial to the city's survival. While they're not able to keep the full grid running, they produce enough to have bargaining power with the other gangs. If any of the Wizards had charisma, they could probably control the city; as it is, none of them even have the balls to lead themselves. (Doolan's in charge by default; he was the only one who didn't wet himself the first time Penis Magnate came to visist.) They mostly just simp for the Molls and bemoan that they don't try to bribe them like Sex Party does. ----- (Uniform Type: Sleeping Over) Peach Union Primary Organizer: Billi Like the Wizards of the Last Arcade, Peach Union is one of those groups that most others have collectively agreed to not fuck with - not because Peach Union would fight back, but because, without Peach Union, they all die. This of course makes them a regular target of the Executors of the Common Order, but those of other gangs have agreed to form temporary truces should a member of Peach Union need assistance. They handle food distribution: looting old grocery stores for long-life products and jarring, canning, or otherwise preserving things about to go. Rumor has it, Peach Union has a garden somewhere just outside the city limits where they're starting to grow crops, but, so as to ensure that they are still needed, they keep its location well-hidden.
