a wilful yet quiet person, Alyssa Vansmith can often be seen by herself during her free time, diligently practicing her guitar. When asked, she'll claim she's not any good compared to any of the people who make money using music, but those who listen to her songs(mostly covers of American and European artists, in particular Tracy Chapman) walk away feeling awed by the emotion she conveys through her guitar, harmonica, and raw, unfiltered voice. Alyssa also participates in the Track and Field team, and, while she will again say she is by no means the best among the team, her teammates will be quick to say that she is the most essential member of the 1600 meter relay team that's slated to make Nationals this year. When not running or practicing her guitar, Alyssa mostly enjoys reading. Her favorite series as of the moment is Lord of the Rings.
