Born a lowly peasant by the more humble name of Anais Kolber, Anais grew up in a poor village in the eastern regions of an equally poor kingdom. Despite knowing the reputation of the local Countess and her unusual proclivities, desperate for money to support her ailing parents, Anais found employment in the Countess' nearby summer estate. The Countess was smitten with Anais and quickly began toying with and teasing her, marking Anias as a favourite maid. While Anais knew that the Countess had an appetite for a maiden's purity, little did she know she desired their blood as well. On an unusually cold summer night the Countess cornered Anais and with the lust for blood overwhelming her, feasted upon the poor girl. Starved of blood and beyond any human thought Anais mercilessly tore the Countess' heart from her chest and feasted upon it.
