Kit's got all the important traits of a generic anime protagonist: he helps people, he's passionate, he's a little reckless at times, and, most importantly, he has an edgy hairstyle. Gettin' described like that might piss some guys off, but Kit's not so stiff. He's liable to brooding, sure, but he can't imagine a scenario with no room for humor. About Nora... "Did she tell you that story about the elevator? ... Yeah, course she did. Keep this between you and me, but... like, I pressed the '7' because I lived on the that floor too. I had my headphones in. The only reason I even remember that day is because, once we got out of the elevator, she screamed 'Thank you, kind stranger!' at the top of her lungs." About Ben... "When Ben was growing up, I spent so much time at his and Lucy's house that he thought I was his older brother. I told him that I was actually his grandfather." About Lucy... "So, you know how you can be dating someone and be kind of iffy about it? - but then you can be dating someone else and just know: you're gonna marry them; you can't imagine not loving 'em forever. That's sorta how I feel about Lucy, but like... the friend version. Just calling her my 'best friend' doesn't really cut it, though; she's my other half. "Um... look: don't tell her I said all this, okay? Like, she knows how much I love 'er, but... s'kinda weird to say it out loud." About his parents... "Well... of course I miss them, but it's... you know, things are kind of crazy right now; I haven't really had the time to grieve. I feel like, when I get older - when I'm as old they were when they had me?; when I'm as old as they were when they disappeared?: then... that's... that's gonna hurt. But... for now, even though I know it's not healthy, I'm trying not to think about them." About Murphy... "Lookin' back, I think I took Murphy's kindness for granted. Not knowing what kind of a state the city was in, it just seemed like a regular interaction, but - understanding now what the world has become... well, I understand why she left. It's nothing short of a miracle that she was the first person we saw. Anyone else coulda laid us out to dry." About Tara... "I think about her a lot. Even ignoring the scars, you can tell she's got a lot of hurt built up in her. I wish, of course, that I could help her, but I appreciate where her general distrust of men likely comes from. And I get that wanting to be her 'savior' or whatever is kind of problematic, but... all the Molls care about her, at least; she's got an incredible support net." About Billi... "Billi is the brightest star in the goddamned universe." About the Echoes... "They're fascinating, but I'm not sure I understand them most of the time. I'm glad somebody's asking those questions, but, y'know, if they ever get an answer, I hope they're kind enough to translate it down for the rest of us layfolk." About Kasia... "The first time I saw Kasia, she was dragging the Knuth boys by their ankles down the street. She'd beaten 'em both in back-to-back drinking contests and arm-wrestlin' matches. Lookin' stone-cold sober, she gave us a little nod like nothin' was up and walked on. I haven't actually talked to her much, but every story I hear 'bout her makes me like her more." About Charlie... "I'm glad that he's fighting against the Executors, but Charlie's kind of an asshole. He's not as bad as the guys in Sex Party, but the way he talks to the Molls is pretty gross, and the way he treats the Wizards is awful too." About Adam... "If you can separate Adam from his brother, you'll see that he's actually not as terrible, but, unfortunately, he mimics Charlie's dickheadedness when in his presence. He also smells, like... really bad. It's like he's never taken that hat off; he's never showered; his hair's got so much oil in it that it's basically lard. It glimmers and glows." About the Executrix... "I haven't actually seen her in person, but I've heard her. Her broadcasts are pretty terrifying. Like, yeah, my heartrate spikes when I turn the corner and see some of her thugs, but the deadliest weapon in this city is her voice." About Penis Magnate... "Every conversation I've had with her is super unsettling. We disagree on just about every subject, and I think she's an awful person, but - even though she's not even my type - she's incredibly... arousing. And you can tell that she knows. She always fuckin' knows." About the Titty Manipulator... "I hate the way he looks at people. It's like he calculating our value. If it was just me, then like, okay, whatever, and if it was just me and Lucy, then like, it pisses me off, but I can hide it. I know now to not let Nora or Ben near him, but... yeah, the first time?: I was... pretty sickened." About the Wizards... "If they get comfortable around you, the Wizards are actually fucking hilarious. It sucks that they get so locked up around girls though; if they could act around them like they act around me, I'd probably be havin' to drag the ladies off 'em."
