Mariah is a 14-year-old shaman from the planet Nelvaan. One year ago, she was among the first of the Jedi to return after the Great Jedi Purge in 19 BBY and subsequently became a padawan to Luke Skywalker after he found her in Rokrul village. Mariah holds her master in high regard for being the son of the Holt Kazed: a fabled warrior who saved her people during the Clone Wars. Due to inexperience with her blue double-bladed lightsaber, Mariah tends to focus more on honing her force abilities through meditation, reading and analysis. She can use these powers to communicate with both the living and the dead, and can also give insight towards future events.
