Roy used to be a rather unempathetic Demon, but after going through some tough times and a long period of general rejection, he's become a humble and kind, albeit lonely, person. Deep down, he longs to make friends and one day find the love of his life. After spending so much time confined at home, he's become quite naive when interacting with others, but he still believes that people can have some goodness in their hearts.
