[AOI HIKARI] Igor Seleznyov is Alisa’s father in Alisa’s Adventures by Kir Bulychov, in short it’s a setting like Star Trek but for kids. Igor is a professor in cosmozoology and director of the Moscow Cosmozo (zoo for extraterrestrial animals). His work includes going on expeditions across the galaxy in search for new animals for the zoo, at least a couple times he brought Alisa along, most famously the first time which was on the summer holidays between second and third grade, which is described in the book “Alisa’s Voyage” and its animated adaptation “Mystery of the Third Planet”.
