Born as the youngest in a poor home with 4 other siblings, she'd always struggled to stand out even in her own home. Bullied and teased by her older siblings, she let her temper get the better of her and would often lash out violently, further isolating her from her family. She'd spend most of her younger years alone trying to find ways to understand and express herself, where she picked up her first guitar. In highschool, she found two other misfits from similarly dysfunctional homes, and discovered they all had an aptitude for converting and venting their frustrations into powerful music. They eventually formed a band, titled "Terminal Lucidity," a conventional metal band with songs based around existentialism and the frustrations of finding meaning in day-to-day life. They've been a tight-knit group for many years, achieving modest success at music festivals and any other gatherings that'd have them. She's a fairly talented guitar player, capable of performing precise and fast riffs and has picked up a number of specialized guitar techniques over her years of nonstop practice and training. She often performs improv solos in the middle of their songs, which have become a staple during their live performances. As such, she's the band's main guitar player, but this isn't her only role. She also has an incredibly powerful yet untrained voice, which forms the soul of the band's music, making her both the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band. The loudest and most vibrant aspects of the band's music is performed by its smallest member. She's taken the nickname 'Magician' by their fans for her eccentric appearance and powerful presence on stage despite her small size. <color=blue><align=center><size=36>Personality <align=left><color=white><size=20>Hotheaded and temperamental, Zoey always feels like she has something to prove. Having felt overshadowed most of her life, she ends up making most things a competition. This makes her the usual source of conflict between the bandmates, especially with Joan. Joan and Zoey often get in competitions or arguments on just about anything, from preferred bands, to favorite games, to what pizza topping they like. The two often get into 'solo battles' where they just play guitar solos against each other until one of them decides to back down or gets tired. As the mediator, Amy tries to get them to calm down and make up, but she usually lets them do their solo battles, and even records them, as several of their best songs originate from these musical bouts. Although she fights with Joan a lot, the two are still indeed close friends. Beneath her rough exterior lies an incredibly lonely individual who'll stick by her friends when things get rough. Her relationship with Amy is a more positive one, if a bit complicated. Amy acts like the older sister Zoey wishes her real sisters were like, being incredibly comforting and supporting to her and helping her through her own troubles. Amy might see her as a sort of 'big sister' figure, but Zoey seems to be developing more of a romantic attraction to Amy as time has gone on. Zoey is too unfamiliar with these feelings to actually make any proper advancements towards Amy, and when Amy misses or misinterpets any potential romantic advance made, Zoey tends to get quite pouty for a bit. Zoey is quite insecure about her body, especially when compared to her two Amazonian bandmates. She dresses in more eccentric styles, along with using contacts and dying her hair in an effort to stand out from her friends when performing or in public. When on her own she tends to wear more reserved or less exotic clothing.
