In Aragoth, Demons do possess souls but do not possess hearts from birth, a demon can obtain a heart by performing a deed that would warrant one (whether that deed be Pure or Corrupt). So it would seem, but things changed after the Demon Princess, Rosa Arrin Brolimiron was born, for she already had a pure heart. This angered Prince Maxwell, the aire to the demon throne, who instantly became jealous of his new sister's potential power. As a teen, Rose discovered an angel, who turned out to be Mailyn, being bullied by a demon and a fallen angel, acting instinctively, she ran up to protect the angel in need. The two instantly became friends. This made Maxwell FURIOUS, “Demons and Angels are enemies! First Rosa was given a Pure heart now she’s befriended an Angel?!?!” From then on, Rosa and Maxwell evolved from just sibling rivalry, to an all out war. -Edward Starlight
