Laryn is a Basalt Elemental who uses powerful physical Rock abilities. Soriel encounters them in Fumarole Cave in Chapter 2 after Mella and Sia plead with him to save her from the enchantment placed on her. She speaks nervously at first warning Soriel to run away from her before she hurts him. However, the enchantment overpowers her will and she attacks him. After Soriel releases her from her enchantment, she thanks Soriel along with Sia and Mella. In Chapter 4, Soriel meets up with Laryn in the Grand Ziggurat prison, learns her stone skin has receded partially and she is very excited about it during their sexual reunion. In Chapter 5, Laryn and Sia request Soriel to stop Mella from getting hurt when she flies away into Fumarole Cave despite new Fused Reapers showing up. Once Soriel saves her again, Laryn, Sia, and Mella thank Soriel again in another special foursome that strengthens the Covenants with each of them as he calls them his Companions.
