i will add to chrhtmxm comment "selling character cards that depict copyrighted anime characters without permission from the copyright holders is generally considered illegal. Copyright law protects the rights of creators and owners of original works, including characters from anime." in short, providing the card for free, is fine, but if someone is trying to sell it, that can end badly if the studio or copyright owners decide to take action against it, and they are beginning to notice, i'd recommend content creators to not paywall their content, instead seek support from those who are willing to "sponsor" while their work should not be paywalled, or these creators will find themselves in trouble.
