Yang Xiao Long is one of the main protagonists of RWBY. She is a Huntress, having been trained at the now-defunct Beacon Academy. Her weapons of choice are a pair of Dual Ranged Shot Gauntlets, Ember Celica. She made her first appearance in the "Yellow" Trailer, searching for clues regarding the whereabouts of her mother, Raven Branwen, who left her when she was a child. From Volume 1, Yang became a member of Team RWBY alongside Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna and her younger half-sister Ruby Rose. In "Worthy", Yang took a hit meant for her sister from Neopolitan in the Central Location, falling into the void as a result and tumbling into the Ever After. In "Confessions Within Cumulonimbus Clouds", she enters a romantic relationship with Blake. In "Of Solitude and Self", she and her friends return to Remnant, where they arrive in the Kingdom of Vacuo.
