Little is known about Clovis' early years, except for the fact he rose quickly to the top of the Wolven underworld from seemingly nothing by killing or buying his way into power. Highly intelligent and skilled in magic, the so-called "Prince of Greed" has made a living through loan sharking and selling rare and illegal magic to those seeking it. His parents were two separate species of Keidran, one Fox and one Wolf. Though the circumstances of how they met are not clear, Clovis holds a large resentment towards them for his Fox genes, believing that being a purebred Wolf would garner him more respect. He calls himself a "Golden Wolf" due to this prejudice. He's also bigoted towards females of all races and dragons. During a caper, Clovis was cursed by the dragon Nora, who decided to teach him humility by turning him female. Rather than learning his lesson, he's become even more motivated and cruel, though he has had to hide his "condition" from his gang. Clovis' greatest love (after himself) is money and power, and he is willing to go to great lengths to gather more to himself.
