<size=48><align=center>Ryoki Natsume "The White Ghost" <size=32><size=20><align=left> Natsume Ryoki (Japanese: 領木　棗, Hepburn: Ryoki Natsume), nicknamed Ryona (リョナ姐, Ryona-ane) among the yakuza, is a former crime boss who was the matriarch of the infamous White Lotus Group (白蓮組, Byakuren-gumi), which was dissolved on August 2017. To this date, she remains the youngest crime boss in all of Japanese criminal history, as she took her position at the age of 23. She took the position of matriarch on December 10, 2006 after her predecessor was assassinated by hitmen from their rival gang, the Yomi Clan. Because of her acts of revenge against the Yomi and her conflict with other groups involved in the Japanese drug trade, she gained a reputation as “the White Ghost” (白怨霊, Shiro Onryo, lit. “White vengeful spirit”). Her first order of business as chairwoman was to stage an all-out attack against the hitmen who killed the previous chairman. However, in the midst of her hits on the assassins, she also killed three Yomi Clan patriarchs who conspired in the killing, starting a series of skirmishes across the Chubu region. This conflict ended up escalating into a war that led to the collapse of the Yomi on January 2010. During the next seven years as matriarch, she led White Lotus to its prime as a criminal organization, participating mainly in the illegal drug trade while killing off any potential competitors in the criminal underworld and whistleblowers the likes of the media and the National Police, thus becoming the White Ghost of Chubu. When the DEA foreign office of Japan launched an investigation of possible local drug trade hotspots in 2016, White Lotus, under her leadership, was quick to cloud any evidence of their involvement in the drug trade by hiding any trace of illegal substances and drug apparatus, along with assassinating and kidnapping potential whistleblowers, which culminated with the mysterious disappearances of various DEA agents, including the office chairman of the Japanese branch. His disappearance brought the entire yakuza underworld in the radar of the FIB, which greatly contributed to their recent decline in criminal activities. While the Americans kept searching, Ryona officially disbanded White Lotus on August 2017, and went into hiding without any trace. To this day, only a few people who actively continued the investigation claimed to know of her whereabouts. Most of them say that she now lives as a regular civilian somewhere in the Kanto region. However, on September 18, 2022, FIB agents spotted Ryona in the streets of Sacramento, California before she disappeared again.
