The High Priestess of the Current, Ina was a great inspiration for her people and was considered the voice of the merfolks god. One day however she found one of the Shards of Atman and upon touching it, it absorbed into her body and seemed to settle in her esca. Suddenly the light that marked her and all other anglers as chosen of their god took on new power. It allowed Ina to see all manner of secrets and truths. The most shocking of which was that her peoples god was actually an evil elder being from another reality. It was trapped and trying to gather enough strength from their worship to break free. Upon learning this she attempted to warn others but was quickly branded a heretic. The church leaders who were well under the control of their dark master said it was actually Ina that was corrupted. She was sentenced to death, but was saved the Captain of the Royal Guard as well as a small gathering of citizens that that trusted and believed in her. Eventually Ina and her friends reached out to the members of Haven for help and was able to expose the elder gods plans, momentarily delaying its plot to break free.
