LORE: Claudette has always been a fan of magical girls and she always wanted to become one so she could be adored by all. One day, she encounters a being who calls itself "Stacy", a mysterious entity who only manifests itself inside mirrors and other reflective surfaces. Stacy offers her the chance to become a magical girl under a contract to which Claudette joyously agreed without even reading the fine print. What Stacy wants from her is something she doesn't know nor care. All she was asked to do by this strange, otherworldly being is to do whatever she pleases with her powers. She does so by being "Lumière de Luxe", the perfect image of a local hero. Defeating villains and saving the weak and helpless citizens. She does not act out of good will however and her main goal is to shine the brightest and be worshipped and idolized by everyone. POWER: Lumière de Luxe has the magical ability to emit beams of light from solid reflective surfaces within a 30 meter radius around her as its point of origin. The object used to fire the lasers from will disintegrate bit by bit until it crumbles into nothing. The object's resistance to decay seems to be based on its monetary value under Lumière's standards. The speed of decomposition increases with the beam's size and intensity, which Lumière can freely control from laser pointers to death rays. She can also fire multiple beams at once, and control at the direction and color of her lasers. Although the rays mostly behave like light, they can only go a little bit under Mach 3, which can be dodged by agile opponents. The standards on where she could use her ability on are rather vague, but basically if it's shiny, and/or you can see your reflection on it, she can fire a beam from it. Since the object is merely used as the point of origin, the rotation of an object wouldn't affect the direction of the beam, allowing her to toss items up in the air and still have no problems with aiming. She could even fire the beams backwards from the reflective surface due to this. Her go-to weapons are diamonds and other gems, which are very expensive and so she could fire the biggest and strongest beams with them. In case of emergencies she could use other things in her surroundings such as tiles, cars, mirrors, glass, shiny metal/plastic objects, and many more. She has a trump card with this ability, in that she could thoretically use someone's eyes as her laser's point of origin, and directly burn their brains with it, but she absolutely refuses to use her ability in such a way, as it ruins her image of herself, and it's just too morbid for her. Her magical outfit also has an innate ability to glow at all times, and Lumière can adjust the brightness at will, from glowstick-tier to blindingly bright. Whether she cannot turn it off, or doesn't want to is something of a mystery. She is also capable of flight using her wings and can reach up to to 100km/h. Damaging her wings will affect her flight capabilities. Her magic will not work if the target object is not reflecting enough light even if said object is highly reflective such as a mirror, but that's where her glowing clothes come in handy. She might have trouble fighting opponents that can remove light. Since she herself is the basis for the monetary value of an object, items of sentimental value would be likely to have much more resistance against the disintegration that her ability causes. Also if she believes that an object has more or less worth than what it actually is, it would also affect her ability to use her magic with that object. Altering her mind to think that everything has no worth would shut her powers down, but do the opposite and she might end up being able to blast entire cities with just a mirror. She cannot manipulate her perspective on an object's value at will due to her materialistic nature. There is a limit on how strong a laser can be depending on the used object. Something like a cup of glass won't be able to create a beam that can bore a hole through flesh even if it was only fired at a fraction of a second at a hair's breadth. Indestructible items are immune to her ability as her magic requires matter to be consumed in order to produce the beams.
