Louie Cristoph grew up in a family of healers, and as such was expected to take up the family trade. He was almost more interested in the skills of rogues, but feeling the pressure from his parents, he focused on learning healing arts and curative magic in his childhood and adolescence. A shortage of healers combined with very high demand for them at adventurers guilds means he is always able to find well-paying work. During mandatory vacation time as a guild healer, he uses his respectible wealth to learn skills outside of healing, such as sleight of hand and marksmanship. The weapon he carries on his thigh is a result of this training, and has served him well as a contingency plan. He wonders why he's always so tired.
